*DESCRIPTION*


Liza is an innovative application for iphone / ipod touch system aimed at measuring muscle performance. The user, with specific exercises through the use of the barbell (half squat in spite of press) or free body (ump) can get synthesis values on different muscle groups (maximum power, 1RM and others) from the performed workout session.

The device is fixed to the barbell or the body, depending on the exercise and Liza uses the accelerometer integrated in the iphone/ipod touch to record the acceleration during the execution, calculating then speed and other output data by means of a special algorithm.

» Calibration of the accelerometer

» Multi-user: Liza is able to define different users, each with its own characteristics, and select the active one.

» Four exercises: half squat, bench press, CMJ and SJ to cover the tests for both the lower and the upper body muscles.

» Test protocol: Liza tests are fully guided by icons and instruction messages, vocal and audio signals, indication of the load to use and the rest period.

» Real-time evaluation: Liza index provides an initial assessment that sums up the result according to the characteristics of the user. Liza also provides the trend that compares the result with earlier tests.

» PDF report: Liza emails you the test data, attaching a PDF report with detailed data and a graphical representation of the test.

» Twitter: send via twitter a brief summary of the test data.

LITE VERSION *

The lite version allows to perform only jump tests (CMJ and SJ), to view best jump data and send them via email or twitter. The PDF report will not provide full data or any graphic representation.
